FIDE to Drug Test Carlsen, Who's More Concerned About Cheating

Norwegian website vg.no reports Magnus Carlsen will participate in FIDE'S pilot project on doping test. FIDE has recently sent world's #1 player a letter stating that.

Carlsen's reaction was calm: "I think it's not so much point of drug testing in chess, I must admit. However, if I must, I must."

The reason for FIDE's initiative lays in following: the organisation wants to be considered as an Olympic sport by the IOC in the future, and anti-doping program is a prerequisite.

"It's inconceivable for me taking of any kind of doping, - Carlsen continues. - I also trust my opponents. In addition that just ruins one's organism.

According to Carlsen he is now more worried about the problem of cheating in chess.
