Zurich. Vladimir Kramnik: "I Tried to Catch Vishy in Catalan Opening"

The second round game of Zurich Chess Challenge between Vladimir Kramnik and Vishy Anand finished in a calm draw. The players made 41 moves disabling the spectators to watch the additional rapid game (according to the rules it should be played in case of the draw agreed before 40 moves). "By playing 1.Nf3, 2.g3, 3.Bg2 I was actually planning to go on with d2-d3 with the fight, - Kramnik said at the press conference. - However, I don't remember c7-c5 to take place in any of Anand's games with Catalan opening. And here he made it, so I tried to use this..."
