Magnus Carlsen: "What I Know About India? It's a Hot and Chaotic Country"

Magnus Carlsen has never visited India yet. Soon after the training session in Kragero, Norway the challenger will fly to Chennai to check the conditions he should be playing at.   

Norwegian journalists visited Carlsen in Kragero to see how is his preparation is going. You can check the PHОТOS of the visit.

Magnus also gave a short interview. According to him except physical training he is spending 5-hours a day on chess preparation. "I've heard that I've made some endgame mistakes lately, so I am trying to do something about that now," quotes the challenger and Tarjei J. Svensen translates in English

This is what Carlsen said about his planned visit to Chennai, "I need to get acquainted with local atmosphere - smells, sounds, people... So, that I won't have a culture shock when I will arrive to play the match."

On a question what Carlsen knows about India, he replied, "Honestly, I only know that it's hot and chaotic."
