Veselin Topalov's manager Silvio Danailov is disappointed with FIDE's decision to hold the Candidates tournament in Moscow, Russia.

"It is simply outrageous, - Bulgarian website newsbg.ru quotes Danailov. - As if there is no other place to host the Candidates. It's in Russia for the third time already."

According to Danailov, the venue will have a negative effect on Topalov: "The organisers know that Veselin will feel uncomfortable there. Los Angeles or Baku would be better, but it's in Russia all the time".

According to the source, Topalov himself has also expressed dissatisfaction with the FIDE politics of holding major competitions predominantly in Russia. "There was a suggestion to hold it in South Africa, but it wasn't accepted, although it would have greatly helped promote chess in Africa," Topalov said.

Danailov added that Topalov's participation is yet to be discussed between him and Veselin.
