San Sebastian: Volokitin and Laznichka in the Semifinal

The classical matches of the quarterfinals have finished at the unusual tournament that takes place in San Sebastian, Spain.

Viktor Laznichka and Andrei Volokitin took an upper hand against Vugar Gashimov and Ruslan Ponomariov respectively, which means both of them are now the participants of the semifinal.  

The encounters Granda Zuniga - Dominguez and Moiseenko - Bacrot will be decided on "rapid" tie-breaks.

Ponomariov - Volokitin 0.5-1.5
