The 87-th French chess championship is taking place in Pau these days. The players list doesn't include Sebastien Feller, who could participate in the tournament and fight for the title due to his rating. Feller came to the opening ceremony, but not alone. He came along with his lawyer. The expected organizers decision not to accept Feller as a tournament player was thus recorded.

Now Feller is going to accuse the French Chess Federation and ask some compensation which is equal to the first prize sum as well as additional compensation of his moral damage.

The grandmaster will neither forget the recent FIDE Ethics Commission desicion to disqualify him for 2 years and 9 months. Feller's main argument in Court will be the fact that this Commission has no rights to take such decisions.
